Jessica Jenyns was born in North Yorkshire.
After attending Lancaster University to study BA Hons English Literature and Creative Writing (and spending the majority of her time making Fancy Dress costumes) Jessica travelled for 6 months around New Zealand, Australia, South East Asia and Borneo, falling more in love with the world.
Jessica went on to attend Kingston University to study MA Experimental Film before moving to Oxford for 2 years.
In 2019, Jessica left Oxford and set off again to explore South America, following the Andean Mountains South from the top of Colombia...
Jessica’s travelling experiences and life-long love of nature have informed her work and life decisions to date.
Jessica returned to North Yorkshire where she concentrates on her artwork and photography full-time, adhering to a commitment to the environment.
Having gone freelance in 2019, Jessica’s commissioned work includes animal portraits and photographing everything and anything wild.
She also spends her Summers in Stuttgart, Germany, as photographer and videographer for their annual Wine Festival for Pro Stuttgart e.V.
In 2020, Jessica also teamed up with the Ribble Rivers Trust in Lancashire to design and produce eco-friendly, charity greetings cards.
