Jessica is an artist, photographer and filmmaker
After studying English Literature and Creative Writing at Lancaster University, Jessica lived and worked in London where she studied for a Masters in Experimental Film at Kingston University. Gaining experience with the international photographer Rankin as a member of his Film Team, Jessica produced commercial and Behind-the-Scenes content, going on to work as Production Assistant for the independent film company, Jewson Film Productions.
Inspired by the natural world, Jessica's photography and videography is earthy with pure images of the environment. She also enjoys creating portrait photography as well as commissioned videos for independent companies.
Jessica uses pencil, mixed media and watercolour in her art, producing works with intensity and energy.
In 2018, Jessica spent time in South America, exploring Colombia, Ecuador and The Galapagos Islands, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. She is currently in the process of putting together a body of work inspired by 'Pachamama', the Andean goddess and embodiment of the mountains, and the relationship between 'Mother Earth and Father Sun'. Jessica hopes to return to these beautiful, wild countries soon to continue her research.
